wet and windy weather + lots to do !

hello again, its been a while since i posted,we have been up to our ears in paint,we have not stopped again all weekend [same as the past 3 weekends]we have just finished tiling the bathroom [well hubby has] painted the porch and the conservatory, laid 2 bedroom carpets, recovered the 3 piece rattan conserve furniture, made 4 sets of curtains, painted some of the pieces as shown in photo's.
my poor little dogs are all over the place as i don't have time to sit with them just lately.
you can just see the new curtains in the background, a lovely creamy colour with small beige green and brown leaves, i bought the fabric months ago and have since gone off it.
but as we are selling up i had to make the covers as well or it would of looked odd!

i have shown my hubby the fabric i really want to make the cutains and covers with and its a gorgeous pink and pale green flowers, really pretty and summery.
so if and when this place sells, i will be making my self lots more sewing to do.
but if it means i get the fabric i want then i don't mind.

these are a small handfull of my fav flowers, i have loads in my front garden and in between painting the porch and waiting for it to dry, i picked these [ just as well as the rain has really flattened them now[will take a pic tomorrow] i put a few sprigs of rosemary in and it smelt gorgeous.

we have'nt sold yet, but i bought a lot of seeds to take with me when i move, as the area i want to live in all have very large gardens [i cannot wait to start ] and after this move we don't want to move anymore! so i will be putting my heart and soul in this this place [ and using lots of floral and stripes ] hubby 's not to keen on flowers, but so far he has agreed on all my choices [ i just point him towards the fabrics and let him think he has picked the one we want .haha] he loves pastel colours, but has never picked any florals until now, so i will be on the look out for some lovely fabrics to save and take with me.

this is the front porch after i stripped all the paper off, its just awful, it has now been painted a lovely sunny lemon.

the dresser outside has been sanded and ready to paint [ next job]

i now have 2 lovely sized old clotheshorse's one i'm painting white and the other a pastel blue,i have a bigger one in my bedroom with my linens draped over it [ i have a thing about clotheshorse's always have] when ever i see a decent one i want it.

this one cost pennies and its in very good condition.

i will be putting a few items on tomorrow that i am selling in my shop, along with the cream and white goods above once finished.

hope everyone had a good weekend despite the awful weather bye for now.

hello again,i hope these pics end up on my blogpage as the last lot i put on,i don't think anyone saw them!! so this is my 3rd time!

this is my rooster! i keep him near my kitchen window [ i would love to have real ones ] someday!

i don,t know for sure, but the feathers seem to be real!

this is my lovely Giselle Graeme hen,i love this one, nice and plump and chunky, the jug i bought while in Sheringham on a break in feb, lovely place would like to go back when its warmer[who am i trying to kid!

will it ever get warmer, hotter, i hope so.

And this is a solid wood hen which i bought at a carboot 4 years ago,i used to keep it near the door on the floor!

but i had to move it high up because every time my little Jack [ yorkie pup ] went past it he always, always cocked his leg on it and had a tinkle ! the poor hen spent more time in the kitchen sink having another wash,so it had to be moved.

and here is the culprit himself, aaah is'nt he just lovely,i think so!

poppy [ jack's mum ]is not feeling to good as she has caught her dewclaw a few days ago,so i have been bathing it for her with a few drops of teatree, as it is really good and she likes to lick it off, but if i get my lavender oil out she hides! always has done haha.

well i will try and post these pics and see if i have got it right this time!

i still have'nt got my other duck pics off my friend yet! but here is a couple of pics of this beauty, busy keeping an eye on the family as they went walkabout.

i tried to get this pic of the rabbits just as they were popping into the warren and what amazed me was the pic that i took, was of a white and brown rabbit,it looked like someones pet rabbit! as most of the rabbits who hid were the usual beigey brown colour.

sorry! but i need to enlarge the pic as the bunny is hard to see!
